Before arriving in Tulsa, Jennifer danced with several contemporary dance companies in Portland, Oregon. Prior to this, Jennifer studied under Susan Zadoff at the University of Oregon and Eugene Ballet in Eugene, Oregon and was a company member of Dance Oregon and performed with the Eugene Opera Ballet. Before this, Jennifer performed as a soloist with the State Ballet of Oregon under the direction of Eric Hyrst. Jennifer was also involved with musical theater in high school and choreographed her first musical of West Side Story at the age of 17.

Jennifer was Founding Co-Artistic Director, Choreographer and Company Manager of Oklahoma Movement (formerly Portico Dance Theatre) in Tulsa for the last 15 years, creating, directing and choreographing more than 15 full length works. Jennifer was a Board Member and served as Treasurer of Living Arts of Tulsa for five years. She was Chair of the Arts and Entertainment Crew of Tulsa Young Professionals (TYPROs). Jennifer received awards for 40 Under 40 for both the Tulsa People and Business and Legal News.

Jennifer has choreographed for three years for the Tulsa Opera, operas such as Carmen, Romeo and Juliet and Samson and Delilah. Jennifer choreographed for Theatre Tulsa and has had the pleasure of choreographing Chorus Line, Oklahoma, Jesus Christ Superstar, Ragtime, The Producers, The Wedding Singer, My Fair Lady, The Music Man and Something Rotten.  She also choregraphed and directed Sound of Music. Jennifer recently directed the opera "The Medium" for the Tulsa Opera. Jennifer was recently awarded the Tulsa Theater award (PO TATE) for her choreography of "Pride and Prejudice" for Pembroke Players.

Jennifer is the creator and director of this year's full-length Tethered. She choreographed the Opening, Finale, Fallen Angels all of the transitions and Lust. It has been an absolute joy to work with this team of artists. Each one of the choreographers has poured their heart and souls into their works. Truly the best choreography I have seen in a long time full of rich texture and intention.

Valeria Fleming was one of the original founders of Portico Dance Theater, now Oklahoma Movement, and is grateful to have been welcomed back into the fold since returning to Oklahoma last year. As an Artistic Director in its early days, she had the privilege to help direct, choreograph and perform in several original works including Elements, Alice in Wonderland, and Super Suite. Val created and directed the original full-length Super Suite in 2011. Currently, Valeria works independently as a physical therapist with a special interest in dance medicine. She has had the pleasure of treating the professional artists of Ballet San Antonio, American Midwest Ballet, and individual performers in Las Vegas, Nevada. She resides in Edmond with her loving husband, two beautiful children, and cranky old dog.

Cassie Waggoner began her dance training at the age of 5 at Nancy Clarke’s School of dance, training in tap, jazz and ballet. She continued her dance training at South Tulsa Dance Company, where she fell in love with contemporary and hip hop and began competing nationally. Cassie joined Portico Dance Theater and Tulsa Modern Movement in 2010 and has performed in many full-length productions including Project Alice, Elements, Super Suite, Wo, and Oklahoma Movement’s Between Us 2-Rewind,  and performed and choreographed site specific work for Oklahoma Movement’s Celebration Earth. Cassie has also danced in two music videos, Hanson’s “Give a Little” and “Thinkin‘ Bout Somethin’” and was part of Shock Ignition- a professional hip hop dance group. Cassie teaches Contemporary and Lyrical dance at Ovations Studio and Gym, where she has had the honor of sharing her passion for dance with her students for over 12 years. When she is not dancing, she enjoys being in nature with her two boys and is currently studying to achieve her bachelor’s in nursing at the University of Oklahoma.

 See her new work "Righteous" Righteous explores the themes of greed and the corrupting influence of power. The work portrays the madness of the struggle for dominance, focusing on how a once oppressed people, driven by the desire to rise, justify the oppression of others. Through quirky, childlike movements, the dancers initially express the fleeting joy of victory, which quickly transforms into an obsessive drive for more. This relentless pursuit of power leads to a breakdown, as the dancers ultimately tear each other apart in a chaotic fall, underscoring the destructive nature of unchecked greed. The piece captures the emotional intensity of human ambition, showing how the joy of success is overshadowed by the darker consequences of excess and selfishness.

Bayleigh Bates is an accomplished dancer and performer with a history in ballet, contemporary, aerial arts and theatre. Currently a dancer, aerialist and choreographer for Oklahoma Moment, she has honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of the art forms. Throughout her performance years Bayleigh has showcased her talent and versatility on various stages in Oklahoma.  She has taken on challenging roles, bringing characters to life. Her passion for dance, aerial and theatre fuels her drive to deliver captivating performances that resonate with audiences. Bayleigh enjoys sharing her expertise and love for the arts through teaching Ballet and Aerial at Soul 2 Sole Performing Arts, as well as popping into other studios around town to share some of the fun! She finds fulfillment in inspiring the next generation of dancers, aerialists and actors, nurturing their talent and instilling a deep appreciation for the performing arts. She has two beautiful boys of her own she hopes to instill great love for the arts in as well.

Kymber Sage was born in Nebraska and raised in Oklahoma. She began her journey into dance at 13 years old on Broken Arrow’s pom team,the Tigettes, where she danced through high school. She received her BA in Theatre from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2017. Since returning to Tulsa after graduation, she has graced stages as both a performer and choreographer through dance, theatre and aerial arts. 

She currently teaches aerial arts at Tulsa Dance Company and Oklahoma Extreme Tumbling & Trampoline. She has performed with various theatre companies in Tulsa including Pembroke Players, Theatre Tulsa, Overture Musical Theatre and Tulsa Project Theatre. Kymber can also be found frequenting the air with companies such Calliope Circus and Oklahoma Showgirls. She is currently a company member with Kin Dance Company and Oklahoma Movement. 

Her recent performance credits include Caroline in Pride & Prejudice with Pembroke Players, A core dancer in OKM & Race Dance Companies Disorder, Witch 1 in Pembroke Players Macbeth, a dancer and aerialist in Sonder with OKM where she wrote and directed, and Miss Thorn in Ruthless! The Musical presented by Overture Musical Theatre. 

When not creating or performing, she can be found with her wonderful family having the best adventures.

Heather Hall Newman has built an impressive career as a dancer, choreographer, and stage director, performing on cruise ships, in Las Vegas, Branson, and on international tours. After returning home to Tulsa, she had the honor of choreographing two music videos for longtime friends and music legends, Hanson. She also choreographed and directed numerous musicals for Tulsa Project Theatre, the city’s premier Equity theater company.

Her choreography credits extend to major productions, including VeggieTales, Mike Rowe's TV series The Way I Heard It, and Andrea Bocelli’s Family Christmas film, where she traveled to Italy to choreograph 10 prima ballerinas—a performance that has now surpassed 10 million views.

Above all, Heather is a proud mom of two incredible kids and cherishes every adventure alongside her supportive husband.

Sheri Hayden is a graduate of Oklahoma City University with a Masters in Nonprofit Leadership in Arts Administration and a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance. As a working professional, she has performed internationally on cruise ships, with The Pollard Theatre Company in The Producers, with Tulsa Ballet in its North American premiere of Strictly Gershwin, +3 Quartets with Adam Parsons Company in Los Angeles, Jazz Dance World Congress in Chicago, as a Company Dancer in RACE. Currently, Sheri serves as Executive Director of RACE Dance Collective, where she first spent many seasons as a full-time company member before transitioning to her leadership position. Disorder is her second original production to co-produce with Oklahoma artists, and her works have been featured in various RACE company shows, including RACE’s Hip Hop Nutcracker. She is also the co-founder of RACE’s first tap company, Red Dirt Tap, with Megan Murray. In addition to her community work with RACE, Sheri is a faculty member of the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment at Oklahoma City University (OCU) and the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), where she teaches multiple dance styles, grant writing for the arts, and has choreographed numerous main stage productions. Her choreographic credits include White Christmas, Mother Road, Footloose, RENT, Sweeney Todd, Bright Star, Legally Blonde, Children of Eden, Spring Awakening, Spamalot, Music Man, Side Show, Sister Act, Evita, and Brigadoon. In addition to musicals, she has set numerous works on UCO’s Kaleidoscope Dance Company. In 2023, she was honored as Adjunct Faculty of Year at OCU. Over the years, she has provided master dance classes throughout the Oklahoma City area and has served on a panel of judges for competitions such as Oklahoma Dance Masters of America, Oklahoma State Dance Team Directors’ Association, Edmond Chamber’s Dancing with the Stars, Starbound, Triumph National Talent, and Dance Champs.

Katie Bibens is a proud native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance, with a minor in Arts Administration, from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Following her studies, Katie pursued a professional dance career with Ballet Nebraska and performed as a guest artist with Osage Ballet, Ballet Vero Beach, and Ballet Concerto. 

With over ten years of teaching and choreographing experience, Katie has shared her passion for dance with students of all ages. She has worked with Bartlesville Civic Ballet, Stage Art Dance, and Children’s Musical Theatre, and previously served as the Studio Manager and Primary Instructor at Nebraska City Dance Studio, where she supported more than 120 dancers and their families.

Beyond the world of dance, Katie works for the Tulsa Convention and Visitors Bureau, promoting Tulsa as a premier destination for meetings, conferences, and conventions.

She also serves on the Board of Directors for Art Maker LLC, an Osage nonprofit dedicated to supporting the arts and arts education in the Pawhuska area.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Katie enjoys dancing with OKM, gardening and vintage shopping. In her free time, she can often be found exploring Tulsa, spending time with her husband, Michael, and doting on their beloved fur baby, Hazel.

Shana Kinder Glenn has been a member of Oklahoma Movement(formally Portico Dance Theatre) since 2008. In that time Shana has had the great honor of performing, teaching and choreographing with the company.

Shana grew up training in Arkansas, Kentucky and Missouri. She is proud to hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Missouri State University.

While at MSU, she represented the University at the American College Dance Festival both as a performer and as a choreographer. She was also selected to perform at the 2006 Congreso de Pedagogía en la Danza in Bogotá, Colombia.

With Inertia Dance Company through MSU, a community outreach dance company, she helped annually bring dance to over 1,000 school children.

Shana has spent 17 years teaching dance and nurturing young artists in Oklahoma. She has worked with Central High School Fine Arts Magnet, Nancy Clarke School of Dance, and Owasso Dance Company. Seeing her students share their passion for dance is truly rewarding.

Offstage, Shana treasures every moment with her husband and their four sons, whose boundless energy and creativity continue to inspire her artistry. She loves them more!

Tamara Moore is a native New Yorker who began her dance training at the legendary Broadway Dance Center. Tamara’s dance and choreography have taken her across the globe with stage credits including, Love, PreciousMemories, Tap and Pan, Trans Am Jam, and Tap Fusion. She has danced for T.W.A.P.A, Awakening Theatre Dance Co and for a myriad of artists, including Mary J. Blige, LL Cool J, and Martina McBride. With over 25 years in the NBA as a Creative in sports entertainment, she coordinated performances for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, Outkast, Beyonce, and Mariah Carey and served over 10 seasons as an NBA Coach and Choreographer for the Memphis Grizzlies.

While dance and live production have been her passion, she has started her newest chapter in Tulsa, where she shares her gifts to emerging artists on the Faculty of Temple of Dance and spends downtime with her Husband Dale, and son Isaiah.
